The Chequers is a Grade II listed timber framed, former wool merchants house, dating from 1511, in the heart of the beautiful village of Aylesford.

Just a short walk from Aylesford Priory, an ancient religious house of the Order of Carmelites dating back to the 13th Century and overlooking Aylesford Bridge which dates all the way back to 1250.

The Chequers is regularly recommended as one of the best pubs in Aylesford. We look forward to welcoming you for drinks and delicious food, served all day.
